SPONSORED / PAID ARTICLES

Collaborations HECK YES, payments for favorable reviews HECK NO. As a working, professional makeup artist, Makeup to Go founder Tania D. Russell has many brand relationships for which she has received gratis product, and she is currently a Brand Educator for Pigment Cosmetics for which she is paid and receives gratis product in order to teach classes. Payment in exchange for favorable product reviews, however, undermines Makeup to Go’s mission to provide unbiased reviews based on the things we as professionals actually love and use on a regular basis.

Sponsored collaborations such as campaigns or initiatives? Possibly. The right project could be super fun, as long as it does not require writing a fake review of any kind, smearing another brand, or any other such inauthentic content that would undermine the credibility of the artists involved in this site. The artist/contributors of Makeup to Go! are uniquely qualified to offer expertise to campaigns and consumer events pertaining to cosmetics and beauty.

As of this update (9/26/2024) no Makeup to Go posts of any kind have ever been sponsored.
